In order for area business people to have an opportunity to meet and network in a casual setting outside of their normal business hours, the Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors a series of "Business After Hours" mixers approximately four to six times a year.

Held at sponsoring local businesses, the sessions enable business owners to discuss lake and business issues informally, while enjoying snacks and beverages and the opportunity to win door prizes donated by Chamber member firms.

Open to the public, they also provide an opportunity for business people not currently members of the Chamber to learn more about what the Chamber does and to get acquainted with members.

Usually beginning at 6:00 p.m., Chamber members are invited to bring  brochures and information about their businesses. Chances at door prizes are awarded by drawing business cards from a hopper.
