Dan Boren to Host Town Hall Meeting at The Coves - 11:00 a.m. July 12th

Dan Boren will be hosting
a “Town Hall” type gathering at The Coves Clubhouse on Saturday, July 12th
from 11:00 a. m. – 1:00 p. m. This will afford us the chance to personally give
the congressman our requests for help with getting the proposed SMP (Shoreline
Management Plan) through
FERC. It is planned as a come and go affair. Any of you who are going to be
here that weekend could certainly help our cause by voicing your thoughts to
the congressman. I hope to see as many of you there as possible.
As of just a few minutes
ago, the current lake level was 749.09’. That’s down almost a foot since yesterday.
With any luck, it should drop a foot or more today and perhaps be down to
approximately 747’ for the big show Friday night. One good thing is that the
water has been so high so often this spring that most of the serious debris has
already been taken on downstream.
