Saturday, May 10, 2008 Shoreline Cleanup

Okay ladies and gentlemen... are you ready for Saturday Shoreline Cleanup???

We will be meeting at The Bistro in Cleora. They have an area where we can park our cars and work our way along the roads from there. The Bistro opens early in the morning, so if you want a cup of coffee or breakfast I am sure there will be some of us partaking.

The cleanup will last until 11:30 a.m., at which time we will go up the road to Grand Lake RV Park and have a very casual ribbon cutting.

From there, you are invited to attend a groundbreaking ceremony on Monkey Island. I do not have any details on the company but I am told it is a big deal. It is an industry related business and will bring jobs to Grand Lake. The gathering, complete with refreshments, will take place at Anna's Bananas.

I plan on taking a change of clothing and hopefully Tonya will be gracious enough to let us use her restroom.
